Hybrid Village Chicken

Hybrid Poultry Farm supplies Village Chicken Day-Old Chicks: this bird will offer those poultry farmers who want a bird that is resistant to disease; able to be free range and will grow faster than indigenous birds, at the same time needing less in terms of inputs.

The chicken is multi-coloured and can be grown for meat or eggs. The bird starts to lay at about 18-19 weeks, and it can lay between 200 – 240 eggs per year. If grown for meat, it can be ready for market with a weight range of 2.2 – 2.5 kilos at 56 weeks.
